What is the DJI Avinox?
The DJI Avinox is an e-bike drive system — essentially the motor, battery, and software platform — designed by DJI, the company famous for making the world's best consumer drones. It's their first major product in the cycling space, and they brought the same engineering philosophy: extreme precision, smart software, and seamless integration.
What is Amflow?
Amflow is the e-bike brand built specifically around the DJI Avinox drive system. Think of DJI as the engine maker and Amflow as the bike brand — similar to how Shimano makes drivetrains and Trek makes bikes. The Amflow PL Carbon is their flagship full-suspension mountain e-bike.
Is this a Class 1 e-bike?
Yes — Amflow bikes are Class 1 pedal-assist, with assist cutting off at 20 mph. This means they're trail-legal in most places that allow Class 1 EMTBs, including the trails we ride at Port Gamble.
